Cookies and similar storage

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site also uses browser local storage to remember your privacy choices. Necessary storage supports core website functions. Optional analytics and embedded booking features depend on your choices.

Necessary storage

WordPress and our hosting and security services may use storage needed for login, security, reliable page delivery and form operation. Administrator login cookies apply when you sign in, rather than to every visitor. Our privacy-choice record is stored under avenza_cookie_consent_v1 in browser local storage so the site can remember your functional, analytics and marketing choices.

Functional features: CalendarHero

Our Book a Call and Power Hour pages embed CalendarHero only when functional consent is enabled. Loading the calendar connects your browser to CalendarHero, which may use its own cookies or storage to provide scheduling. If you reject functional features, the calendar stays blocked and you can contact us by email instead. Bookings made in CalendarHero are also covered by that service’s privacy information.

Analytics: Google Analytics 4

Google Analytics is loaded only after you allow analytics. It helps us understand page use, quote-form completion and clicks on booking, email and phone links. Google Analytics may store _ga and _ga_* cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions. These identifiers are not the same as fully anonymous information.

The configured quote-conversion event does not send your name, email address or project text. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in our current configuration. Logged-in administrators are excluded from this analytics implementation.

Marketing

The settings panel includes a marketing category. The current analytics setup keeps advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation disabled, including when this category is selected. Selecting marketing does not subscribe you to email communications.

Storage duration

Some necessary cookies last for a browser session; others persist for their configured lifetime. Google Analytics and CalendarHero storage durations depend on the provider’s settings. Our privacy-choice record remains in local storage until it is replaced by a new choice or removed through your browser’s site-data controls.

Change or withdraw your choices

Use Cookie Settings in the footer to allow or reject optional categories and save your preferences. You can also use the banner to reject non-essential storage, customise categories or accept all. Necessary storage remains active.

When analytics consent is withdrawn, the site disables analytics collection and attempts to remove its Google Analytics cookies. Reload the page after withdrawing consent so previously loaded third-party features are removed. Your browser can also delete cookies and local storage or block them, although this may affect website features. Clearing the privacy-choice record makes the consent banner appear again.
