Your information and choices

Who is responsible

Avenza Digital, part of Avenza Group Ltd., is the controller for personal information collected through this website. Contact hello@avenzadigital.com. Our business locations are Naas, Co. Kildare and 77 Camden Street Lower, Saint Kevin’s, Dublin, D02 XE80.

Enquiries and project information

When you contact us or request a quote, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, email address, organisation, optional phone number, services of interest, project brief, budget and timing. Please leave passwords, customer records and sensitive personal information out of enquiry forms.

We use this information to assess your requirements, respond, prepare proposals and take steps towards providing the services you request. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries where contractual steps do not apply. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.

Booking a call or Power Hour

Our booking pages use CalendarHero. The embedded calendar loads when you allow functional cookies. Information you enter in the booking service is used to arrange and administer your appointment, including relevant contact details, meeting preferences and information you choose to share. CalendarHero also receives technical information needed to provide its service. Any payment information requested during booking is handled through the booking service’s payment process.

Website operation and security

Technical information, including IP addresses, browser information, timestamps and security events, may be processed by our hosting and security services to operate the site, prevent abuse and investigate problems. We use Hostinger for website hosting and Wordfence for website security. This processing supports our legitimate interest in maintaining a secure, reliable website.

Analytics and cookie choices

Google Analytics 4 is enabled only after you allow analytics cookies. It measures website use and actions such as quote-form completion and clicks on booking, email and phone links. Our configured events do not include the name, email address or project text entered in the quote form. Advertising storage and advertising personalisation remain disabled in the current analytics configuration.

Analytics processing is based on your consent. You can change your choices through Cookie Settings in the footer. See our Cookie Policy for more information.

Marketing communications

Any future mailing-list signup is separate from project enquiries and requires its own choice. The website’s footer mailing-list connection is not currently enabled. We do not treat an enquiry or appointment as permission to send newsletters.

Service providers and sharing

Information is handled by the service providers needed to operate the website, deliver email, store and review enquiries, provide bookings, protect the site and, with consent, measure website use. Contact Form 7 and Forminator support our enquiry forms; quote submissions are stored in WordPress and enquiry notifications are delivered by email through our SMTP service. FluentSMTP records delivery logs. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Some providers operate internationally and may process information outside the European Economic Area. You can contact us for information about the providers and transfer arrangements relevant to your enquiry or booking.

How long information is kept

Retention depends on the purpose of the record. Enquiries and correspondence are kept while needed to assess, respond to and follow up on the request, and to deal with related issues or claims. Where work proceeds, relevant information forms part of the client record and may need to be retained for contractual, accounting or legal purposes. Website security, email-delivery and analytics records have separate retention settings. Contact us if you need information about the retention or deletion of a particular record.

Your rights

Subject to applicable conditions, you can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, restriction of processing or data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact hello@avenzadigital.com to exercise your rights; we may need to confirm your identity.

You may complain to Ireland’s Data Protection Commission if you have concerns about how your information is handled.

Links to WhatsApp, maps and other external services take you to services with their own privacy notices. Review those notices before sharing information with them.
